Upskill your Sewing Knowledge and Techniques
So how does it work?
We are offering a variety of Sewing Classes online if you want to upskill your sewing techniques to deliver a quality garment of which you are proud of. The courses are available to students all over the world. You can order any Class from us and we will email the contents of the Class to you within 24 hours. This will allow you to work through the Class in your own time (whenever and where-ever you want to) and pose questions to Sonja during the set time frames. Class lessons will be in Adobe Acrobat format (PDF). Click here to download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
I will personally answer your questions as we go along, and you will have the opportunity to see what others ask and the answers as well. Not only will you learn a lot, but you will also have fun
We will post three or four time frames per annum on our Website. During these time frames (three weeks each) you can post any questions relating to the Classes you have enrolled for to Sonja.
Discussions will be held via e-mail, so that all students can participate in their available time. Nothing is LIVE, so that we can be sure to include all of our participants from around the globe. With instructions so detailed and graphics so clear, you'll feel like you are actually in the classroom receiving one-on-one attention. Each Class includes e-mail support for questions that are related to that particular Class.
When are the Time Frames?
The time frames for 2019 - when you can post questions to Sonja - will be:
16 January - 05 February
1 May - 20 May
19 August - 2 September
18 November - 6 December
The Following Classes are Offered :
Jean Zyglowicz from Leesburg, Virginia, USA says:"I enjoyed the class! It was my first online experience, and I found it wonderful. All of the lessons were very easy to read and follow. It was definitely worth it. Thank you so much and please keep me updated on future classes."
Sue Cumming from Melbourne says: " Thank you for the opportunity to sign up for the Pocket Workshop. I found the notes to be most helpful and have now a better understanding of "doing pockets". It was certainly worth it and exceeded my expectations, particularly as there were such nice clear notes and diagrams."
Johnna Wentzel from Grasonville, MD in the USA says:" Just wanted to say THANKS a million! I have FINALLY produced a piece with a fabulous collar and I owe the thanks to you. It was a simple standard collar but I can't tell you how long (and how many items I have ruined) I have been trying to get it right. looking forward to continuing and to more classes in the future!"
