SOME
GOOD NEWS
Our body shapes have changed from the traditional Hourglass figure. Has anybody noticed? Most of us are either Rectangular, Pear or Inverted triangle. Research in the US has found only 8 percent of women now have the sort of hourglass figure flaunted by curvaceous 1950s film stars! Clothes are still made to fit slim-line version of that figure. The fashion industry ignores the true size of women, as to why they do! Stupidity is the only reason I can think of. The idea to design for larger women were not the ideal to design for, was a myth. It is not how big or small you are, it is whether your clothes fits, that matters. People can be beautiful when they are any shape or size! Thanks to our Lutterloh System... clothes do fit easier! I've just got a few bits on skirts still! Found some interesting godets...thought I will share that with you. Godets

PERSONAL STYLE- for you guys that missed it last time! STYLE is not about beauty, age, size, wealth or even fashion, its about knowing and respecting yourself for who you are (with no strings attached) and having the confidence to discover and project your unique style in a consistent and confident manner. A great visual image increases self-esteem and confidence: when you know you look great you walk, talk and think differently. I have met with Ann Reinten from TAIC last year in Melbourne Australia and was introduced and tried her PERSONAL STYLE PORTFOLIO. It is excellent and working for me because some styles just suit me better. I can fully recommend it. One can order it from the Internet and it is available in a Hard Copy and Electronic Version (cheaper). Please try the FREE SAMPLER first!!! For more information and to download the FREE SAMPLER just PRESS HERE and enjoy. Tips for Hemming Knit Garments Press the hem into place before stitching by lowering and lifting the iron from the fabric. Allow the pressed section to dry before handling to prevent stretching the fabric Stretch the fabric slightly when using single-needle topstitching in areas that will be subjected to stress. It is not necessary to stretch the fabric when topstitching with a double or triple needle Enjoy the Festive Season & wishing you all a happy and fantastic 2006! Copyright 2004 Sewing With Pride.
