PRINCESS  LINE - GARMENTS

This is the easiest style to use wearing clothes to be stylish                         unique and definitely well fitted! Any seam in a garment                         offers an opportunity to adjust fit, but vertical seams are                        most helpful when it comes to increasing or decreasing                   circumference measurements.

Draft your pattern remember the dots on the waistline                         should be your BUST MEASUREMENT. Cut the pattern front                      and back out. Don’t separate the pattern pieces as yet.                         Fold in the dart sections of the pattern (or the princess lines), matching notches. Decrease or increase the pattern if necessary, draw new lines in and cut out new pattern. You will have a center front and side front, center back  and side back. Stick together and fit

  • Denim skirt  Faced, with zips and interesting pockets A-line shaped with pockets

  • Flared skirt with waistband cut on the bias!

  • 4-Gore skirt, change it and cut it on the bias, experiment with drape of fabric good fun to do.

  • Faced Trousers in stretch fabric narrow leg, very stylish

  • Casual trousers with comfy wide legs and interesting pockets!

Dresses:

  • Shift dress-V-neck with optional darts so you can decide on how fitted you want it to be.

  • Another very nice V-neck line without sleeves, the V-neck forms the shoulder bands very interesting could use this one as a very interesting evening gown by just different choice of fabric. For those of you that always have the heat thinking of Townsville this is a must!

  • Also a shaped summer dress with added frill on hemline if wanted nice thin shoulder straps and for those of us that feel chilly quite quickly it goes with short bolero jacket over it, I would like to make this up in a thick rich lace fabric, need of a wedding now!

Jackets:

  • Good fitted jacket with rolled collar one button in stretch abric, yeah!    Variation of the Chanelle jacket

Loose overthrow:

  • Had a request – “something it looks just like a sort of square, stitched under the arms with a V-neckline, when you’ve got it on it flirts about not a straight hemline”

  • I hope this one is what you meant, I made it and love it did some variations with my neckline!

Fuller figure
